WAL-MAC FOOSBALL LEAGUE RULES
LEAGUE NIGHT PROCEDURES:
All League matches commence at 7:30 P.M. The grace period to start a match is 15 minutes, which means you must have at
both players to start a match, unless both team captains agree otherwise.
The Match Package will be at each match location and will have the HOME
Team's name printed on the outside. This package is for BOTH teams and contains ALL information needed for that week's match. PLEASE READ the package poster and be sure that all players are informed of what is on the poster every week.
It is the responsibility of BOTH TEAM CAPTAINS to make certain the score sheet, collection envelope and any other forms are completely filled in.
The HOME TEAM Captain gets and KEEPS the signed receipt from the
weekly collection envelope. The collection envelope STAYS at the
bar. The receipt must be kept until AFTER the League prize fund is
paid out. Weekly Fees for Foosball are $8 per player ($16 per team) per week. Fees
are due in the event of a forfeited match.
BOTH CAPTAINS are responsible for correctly and completely filling in the score sheet.
The home team captain must fax the white copy to the league office
466-2910 by NOON Thursday. Late or missing score sheets will
result in a penalty.
LINE UP/TEAM
ALL players will begin the season with a handicap assigned by
the league. New players should talk to the league coordinator
prior to their first night to determine their handicap.
New Players may be signed up anytime prior to the start of a League match. The NEW PLAYER form MUST be completed and sent with the SCORE SHEET. The $10 registration fee must be placed in the collection envelope and the New Player's name listed on the envelope.
Teams may carry a MAXIMUM of 4 players on their roster. Once a player is on the roster of a team that player is not eligible to play for any other team, nor is that player eligible to quit one team and join another team.
SUBSTITUTIONS are NOT allowed in regular League play. Players who begin a match must play through it entirely or forfeit the games they are unable to play. Other players on the roster are not permitted to "jump in" in the middle of a match.
Home Team has the choice of side of table or first serve.
LEAGUE PLAY
It is the responsibility of EVERY player to be aware of the
rules of play
Participants should settle any disputes regarding a game being
played. In the event this is not possible, team captains or
acting captains will act as official in ruling situations.
Decisions must be made at the time of the match between the two
teams. Referees are not provided. It is the
responsibility of each player to know the rules.
CONDUCT
The objective of this league is to promote sportsmanship, goodwill and unity among players of the game of foosball.

- Repeated charges of un-sportsmanlike conduct
PROCEDURE:
The designated home team has the
choice of side of table or first serve. Home and visitor are
designated on the schedule. Visiting team captain records his
line up first, including player handicaps using the 2 player score
sheet. Home team captain records his line up second.
Player line up positions can be very strategic as this determines
their player number/slot throughout the match and the form of
singles that they will participate in.
Each game is played to 7 actual goals
(listed as "pts" on the score sheet). Handicaps are added
after the game to determine the final score. The final scores
are added after each round to determine the winner of the round.
Each round won is worth 1 point in the match when a round total
results in a tie each team is awarded a half round point.
The team with the highest total of round points at the end of the
match is awarded 1 bonus round point. The team with the most
rounds won in the winner of the match; League standings are based on
rounds won.
Handicaps will not change after each
match. Handicaps will be reviewed mid-season and adjusted if
needed.
Cost of table is shared by two teams.
Players signing up on a team are only
allowed to play with that team for the league season.
Switching teams or substitutions during a league match are not
allowed.
NEW PLAYER SIGN UP
New Players may be signed up any time prior to a League match starting.
The New Player Sign Up Form from the weekly package must be completely filled in and returned WITH THE SCORE SHEET.
