STATUS OF WINNING TEAMS/PLAYERS
All eligible players Winning a trip to Vegas on a team roster in a Women’s League will become Vegas Players. Vegas league teams winning a trip become designated Super Vegas Players. Super Vegas teams winning a trip become Premier Players. Premier League players winning a trip become Super Premier Players. Super Premier players and Open players winning a trip become Open Players.
Designations are made REGARDLESS of whether or not the listed players compete and the Wal-Mac Championships OR travel to Las Vegas. Status is UPHELD INDEFINITELY regardless of participation in the league (i.e. players DO NOT get released from their status because they do not play in the league for a period of time).
IF you want to get released from your CURRENT STATUS there are 3 criteria.
1. You MUST write a letter to the Board of Directors asking to be released from your current status. The letter MUST contain the year you won your trip, the team you won your trip with, any teams you played on since winning your trip. Also a brief description of why you think you should be released.
2. You MUST play at the level you won into for a MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS to be considered for release. If you have NOT played in the level you won at you will NOT be released.
3. Your stats must show that you can not compete at the level you won into.
NO release is quaranteed. The Board of Directors meets ONCE A YEAR IN THE BEGINNING OF AUGUST to go over all releases and decide who gets released. If you want to be considered for release you need to email your letter to info@walmac.net or fax your letter to (780) 466-2910 BEFORE JULY 31.
Teams forfeiting part or all of the championship Tournament matches will finish in the last place spot of their Tournament draw and will forfeit ALL prize money.
All players MUST have 8 weeks of play with EVERY team they want to participate with.
REFEREES: Every effort will be made to have referees available, but due to the fact that referees VOLUNTEER their time and they are usually players, that may not always be possible. In the event of limited referees, TEAM CAPTAINS will act as referees same as in league play. Should a ref be called to watch a shot and one is available, the referee will make the call on any questionable shot and their rulings ARE FINAL. If a team captain is called to referee, the captain OF THE SHOOTER is the ONLY referee.
