24th  Annual WCVNEA Championships

To enter the tournament you must have 8 weeks of play by January 24th, 2024 in the 2023-24 season.

The tournament committee reserves the right to re-assign players into a higher division based on their performance in league play (you can go up but not down a division). A team must play at the level of their highest-ranked player.

Players are expected to know at what level they are qualified to play at during the tournament. If a player is found to be playing at the wrong level, they will be disqualified from further participation at any level in the tournament and forfeit any monies won.

 

 

Open Novice — Team entry fee $300 Green Fee Included: Singles $75 (4 player teams)

Open Intermediate — Team entry $375 Green Fee Included: Singles $85 (5 Player teams)

Open Advanced — Team entry fee $425 Green Fee Included: Singles $95 (5 Player teams)

Open Masters — Team entry fee $575 Green Fee Included: Singles $135 (5 Player teams)

Ladies Intermediate — Team entry $300 Green Fee Included: Singles $75 (4 player teams)

Ladies Advanced — Team entry fee $340 Green Fee Included: Singles $85 (4 player teams)

Ladies Masters — Team entry $440 Green Fee Included: Singles $105 (4 player teams)

 

Note: If a player (male or female) is  Ranked as Intermediate or Master in VNEA they must play as a Master at the WCVNEA championships.

 

Team Requirements

All teams must be comprised of at least 2 original players from the same league team (except Masters , Ladies Intermediate, Ladies Advanced, and Ladies Masters Teams), and 2 original members must play every round. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th may come from any team within the same league system. All players must have played a minimum of 8 league nights in the 2023-24 season.  Masters, Ladies Intermediate, Ladies Advanced, and Ladies Masters Teams may be comprised of any 5/4 players within the same charter so long as they meet the league night requirement
Note: It will be at the Tournament Committees' discretion to allow a singles player or team to remain in the Novice or Intermediate division or be moved to a higher division.

Team Names

You are not required to use the same name as your League Team but team names must be clean and are subject to refusal.

Any player playing in Premier or higher is not eligible to play in the Novice division REGARDLESS of Wal-Mac Level.

It should be noted that a non-ranked player playing in a lower-level division (SV or lower) with a combination of  2 or more feats (ERO's, Table Run) cannot play in Novice Division singles.

 

Any team in the Lower level Divisions (SV or lower) with a combination of  4 or more feats (ERO's, Table Run) cannot play in Novice Team Division.

CSR will also be taken into account for Novice Entries
